Itinerary

Day 1 - Friday, October 6, 2023 (MBS & D) We will leave early this morning and make our way to Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with an on-your-own lunch stop along the way. After checking into our hotel, we will enjoy a wonderful dinner togethere at Port Cape Girardeau Restaurant. Day 2 - Saturday, October 7, 2023 (B & D)Today we will enjoy some of the great attractions in Memphis. We will start out at the Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum. After lunch on your own, we will tour the Memphis Music Hall of Fame and The National Civil Rights Museum. In the afternoon, we will check into our hotel, The Guest House at Graceland, to freshen up for our evening dinner cruise on the Mississippi. Day 3 - Sunday, October 8, 2023 (B & L)Today we will spend the day at Graceland, dedicated to the life and career of American legend Elvis Presley, the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. As Ultimate VIPs, we will have access to Ultimate Lounge and Exclusive VIP Exhibit, options to purchase special merchandise only available to our Ultimate guests, lunch at Vernon’s Restaurant, an exclusive photo op, a keepsake souvenir and more! Dinner will be on your own at one of the hotels at The Guest House. Day 4 - Monday, October 9, 2023 (B & D)After we tour the historic Sun Studio, you will have time on your own for lunch and shopping on Beale Street. Beale Street boasts an eclectic mix of shops, and some of the most popular restaurants in Memphis. This evening, we will enjoy live music and a delicious dinner at BB King’s Blues Club. Day 5- Tuesday, October 10, 2023 (B)We will check out of our hotel, and head to the Stax Museum of American Soul Music, the only museum dedicated to the history of the Stax recording label and its music. We will then head to Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid for lunch and time to browse. This mega store has 600,000 gallons of water features; a cypress swamp with 100-foot-tall trees; an interactive National Waterfowling Heritage Center; and a breathtaking glass-floored cantilevering observation deck at the top of the 32-story steel pyramid. Before we depart Memphis, we will be going see the famous Peabody Hotel Ducks, and have dinner (on your own) near the Peabody Hotel. We will spend tonight in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Day 6- Wednesday, October 11, 2023 (B & L)We will depart for Union City, Tennessee and spend the day at Discover Park of America. Discovery Park of America is a state-of-the art 100,000-square-foot museum sitting on a beautifully landscaped heritage park in Union City, Tennessee. Discovery Park showcases ten exhibit galleries focused on topics like science, space, technology, the military, natural history, regional history, art, transportation and more. When we leave the park, we will drive to Mt. Vernon, Illinois for the night with a dinner stop (on your own) on the way.
