Itinerary

Day 1 - Thursday, September 21, 2023 (MBS & D)We will leave Grand Rapids at 7:00 am and head to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, with an on-your-own lunch stop along the way. After checking into our hotel, we will enjoy a wonderful group dinner at the LaPrimavera Italian Restaurant. Day 2 - Friday, September 22, 2023 (B)We will enjoy breakfast at our hotel before heading to NYC, stopping for lunch on your own en route. Upon our arrival in New York City, we will board the New York City Express at Pier 83, for an amazing ride out to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, for a view of New York City that you’ll never forget! You’re on your own for the evening to take in a show, or just enjoy the New York City nightlife! We will overnight in the Big Apple at the luxurious Westin Hotel, located in the heart of Times Square. Days 3 & 4 - Saturday & Sunday - September 23 & 24, 2023These two days, you will be on your own to enjoy whatever you wish to do in New York City. We will provide all-day double-decker bus passes for both days, to be able to ride the guided buses throughout the city, where you can ‘hop on & hop off’ all day long to explore this fabulous city, with access on the Downtown and Uptown Tour loops! Day 5 - Monday, September 25, 2023This morning we will start our day on the 100th floor of the One World Observatory, where you will experience expansive, 360-degree views, taking in the iconic sights, surrounding waters, and panoramic views of the city and beyond. There will be time to stroll around the 9/11 Memorial Twin Reflecting Pools, each nearly an acre in size and sitting within the footprints of where the Twin Towers once stood, which feature the largest man-made waterfalls in North America. After, we will visit the breathtaking 9/11 Memorial Museum, an incredible 110,000 sq.-ft. exhibition space that tells the story of 9/11 through multimedia displays, archives, narratives and a collection of monumental and authentic artifacts, commemorating the lives of every victim of the 2001 and 1993 attacks. We will then begin our journey home, stopping overnight in DuBois, Pennsylvania. Day 6 - Tuesday, September 20, 2023 (B)After breakfast at our hotel, we will continue our journey home, stopping for a quick lunch on your own along the way, with an approximate arrival time in Grand Rapids at 5:00 pm.
