Itinerary

August 29, 2023 (Tuesday) - MBS & L We will depart Grand Rapids this morning and enjoy breakfast snacks and coffee, as we begin our Shipshewana adventure! Once we arrive, our first stop will be at Yoder’s Department Store for some shopping. A traditional family style lunch will follow at The Carriage House. After lunch, we’ll enjoy a wonderful performance of the hit musical The Home Game at the Blue Gate Theater. How does a young man choose between his father’s wishes of an Amish life and his own deepest dreams? What will it cost him? Levi’s journey is one you won’t soon forget. Filled with laughter and drama, this new Blue Gate production is sure to hit it out of the park. After the show there will be some time for shopping at either E&S Bulk Foods, or Ben’s Pretzels in Shipshewana so you can get some treats before we head for home! Approximate arrival time in Grand Rapids is 7:00 pm (no dinner stop).
