Itinerary

July 29, 2023 (Saturday) - MBS We will leave Grand Rapids this morning for our exciting day at the Air Zoo, stopping along the way for breakfast. We will arrive at the Air Zoo late in the morning. You will have time to visit the two exciting centers on the Air Zoo campus that are easily accessible by shuttle or a 5-minute walk. The Air Zoo is Smithsonian-affiliated, with immersive and engaging experiences for all ages. It is an aviation museum and indoor amusement park with exhibits and rides. The Air Zoo holds many historical and rare aircraft, including the world's fastest air-breathing aircraft, the SR-71B Blackbird. It is the perfect place to imagine, explore, discover and to be inspired. We will have a picnic lunch, featuring a hot dog and burger bar with lots of toppings to choose from, including beef chili sauce, poblano queso, american cheese slices, lettuce, tomato, onion pickle and condiments. Chips, a chocolate chip cookie and a drink are also included. You may eat your lunch indoors, or take it outside if you prefer. We will board our bus for the trip home in the afternoon. Approximate arrival time is 5:15 pm
